About
Named after a legendary witch from Dartmoor, Old Moll’s songs are from the mists of time: unearthing stories from history and folklore that fell through the cracks.
Her debut EP ‘Mothers of Mothers’ follows in this vein, shining a light on women’s perspectives from ancient folktales to Neolithic mysteries.
Moll’s explorative lyrics, ethereal vocals and grand indie-folk sound have found a growing audience across her home town of Bristol, the wider South West and Wales.

Taking inspiration from ‘witch-hare’ folklore, ‘Silver Hare’ is a rousing call to put down your responsibilities, open the door, and run free with the hares of the wild and moonlit moors.
Venus of Malta
Inspired by a 5000-year-old statue of the same name, ‘Venus of Malta’ is a heady, ethereal indie folk track contemplating deep time and what it means to inhabit a body on this earth.
Live shows
Old Moll is accompanied by a 4-piece band for her atmospheric live shows.
From an immersive set in Swansea Arena to a medieval fort on the shores of the river Teign, Moll’s shows span unconventional spaces and established venues alike to create unforgettable performances that bring the history and folklore of her music alive.
Moll’s solo acoustic performances continue to provide a gentle yet powerful show.
